THE BEGINNING

As of about four months ago, I formed this great obsession for everything fashion, beauty and all things artsy.  There was just one thing missing, I didn’t have an outlet where I could just write down my thoughts, feelings, tips and ideas and in hope, help make a difference to atleast one person. As I was surfing the web one day, it dawned on me that starting a blog would let me do all of the above, which is why I have started this blog
CURLYCO.
This blog will be dedicated to everything beauty, fashion , my thoughts and pretty much anything that interests me!

So to begin my journey into the blogging community, I have decided to dedicate my first blog post to my favourite affordable make up items! I hope you enjoy!

Rimmel London – Lasting finish soft colour blush in 170 Genuine Plum.

You see, I’ve never been much of a blush kinda girl, but I thought I might as well give it a got to see what all the fuss was about  and all I have to say is that I love blush and I don’t know how I have been living without it all these years. The thing I like about this specific blush is that the colour is quite subtle and reserved and last for as long as you need it.

Maybelline - Color Sensational  Lip stain in 55 Plum Flushed.

The thing I like about this lip stain is that it doesn’t dry your lips out as much as some other brands of lipstains do.(TIP) I find that before and after applying the lipstain, I like to apply a thin layer of balm just to keep in as much moisture as you can.

Revlon – ColorStay 24hr Foundation in 200 NUDE

This by far has to be the best long lasting foundations i have ever used to date. As it is a full coverage foundation, I find that it is quite light weight and when applying I don’t feel as though I’m cake-ing it on my face!!

Rimmel – Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent
I find that when applying this product, it is so light weight and goes on quite nicely. Being the lightest colour (transparent 001) I find that because of my fair complexion, it suits my skin tone quite well.

So there you have it, they are some of my favourite affordable make up items!

what are some of your favourite affordable make up items?
